I plan to get the Pioneer 8400 link at work for $310. It seems to have everything I want, any reasons that I shouldnt get it?

 

security reasons....i know part of it is detachable, but another part slides in. but i think the HU wont work without the detachable part...so go for it.

my friend got that deck new for $100....one of those dont ask dont tell deals.

 

too flashy, too many moving parts, and slow transition from one mp3 to another

u can't go wrong with ALpine bass engine plus decks. when it comes to deck, alpine is the best. ever seen their F1status deck that was hand made? one word, gorgeous.

 

how many people can afford that deck, let alone even get a chance to purchase it.

 

i have touched it and seen it in a old CRX one day at a shop. yes you are right, CRX. that kid must be crazy or something, he could afford that deck but still driving a CRX. that deck with other accessories cost more than 5000 CND, so it's about the price of a turbo kit. if i had that much money, i would get a turbo. i was not talking about F1status particularly. all bass engine plus decks are gorgeous

 

Dang WiLL can ur friend hook me up too?!? I think that HU is pretty tight and i'd like one. u kno my bday was yesterday...haha


anywhos...yea that deck is pretty good and like wut WiLL said, the HU won't work without the detachable face. That's like another plus..only prob is that there's so many little mechanism in that HU that if something goes wrong, i'm sure it'll be hell to pay to fix it. Other than that, good specs and it looks good!

i cant even hook myself up. it sold out quick, i didnt find out till i seen it in his car. its all good though.

 

No prob, that price I quoted inclduded a 4 year service plan.

 

yea i got that HU from best buy too.. i paid $330 for mine with the 4 year service plan.. i really like mine.. no problems here!
