Default cd changer not ejecting cartridge and giving me error screen...

my cd changer was working fine now it doesnt spit out the cartridege that hold cd's. it just makes a clicking noise like it does spit out compartment but it doesnt... i had disconnected all wires than hooked it back up and it ejected cartridge.. i thought it was fixed so i pushed power and it said error again on every tracke i would go to.. so i tryed to eject and it didnt want to anymore even after i had disconnected everything again. .. anyone know what this is?

Sounds like it could possibly be the little inside the changer is broken?? I'm not too familiar with cd changers, but that would be my guess. Is this a stock cd changer, or aftermarket?

Generally when HU that I've seen that have bad motors, they do not eject disks right.

What brand is the changer and headunit?

Vary rarely do motors go bad.... its usually a bad position switch, core unit, or power supply (all inside the changer). I work on car stereo equipment for a living, so if you can be as specific as you can about your equipment and problem I may be able to give you advice. You won't fix it, though (unless you can read schematics).

the cd changer is pioneer and its hooked up to my eclipse cd player...
