I have Sirius, and I love it!! That shit about bad weather and poor reception is crap. I think sirius is like $3 more a month or something, but I think it is WAY better than XM. All of my buddies have XM and it seems like the channels just suck. My $.02.

xm is $10 monthly

sirius is $13 monthly

I hear more good things about XM than I do Sirius, but I'm pretty sure that's just because more people have XM than Sirius. I'm thinking about getting Sirius myself, since my kenwood HU has the option for it.

If you don't like the idea of the roof mount antenna, you can mount the antenna on the inside of your car, on top of the dash. That is what I did in my 4g accord (I have meet a guy who has a 6g accord that did the same thing) and it works perfectly! I'll try to get some pics tommorrow.

I have Sirius Kenwood Set-up in my Accord via the factory head unit, (using a KCS_R70FM controller) I will be switching to a Sirius-Kenwood head unit this spring and building a system.

I have the antenna inside my car next to my third brake light works perfect, I have the same set-up in my S-10 but the antenna is on the roof, the performance is equal.

check out my install of this simple kit, it was easy: Sirius has a promo currently this entire set-up can be had for under 100bucks.

I love Techno and Sirius has more Techno channels then XM and every channel on Sirius is commercial free unlike XM, I bought Sirius because I tired of the clear-channelization of America.

www.siriius-backstage.com has info on Sirius installs too.

www.kenwoodusa.com

Kenwood offers double din cassette-CD head units, in addition to the plethera of CD-MP3 single din units.

They offer several models with (3) Pre-outs [all 5 volt] which I am quite partial too and will be installing in my Accord come spring.

Most are available via Crutchfield if not at your local stores.

XM is by far superior. The programing is so much better. And besides, there are plenty of commercial free channels on XM. Siruis lacks substance and all of their channels are edited (blah).
