anyone have this?? i'm looking at buying it.. only thing is i don't know if it has a detachable face plate or not? anywho just curious what you guys have to say

 

it does not have a detachable faceplate, but it does come with a "plastic faceplate cover"... im guessing it "conceals" the deck.

It wont be the best in the sound quality department, but the display is cool if you actually use it. Thats really the only thing the deck has going for it. And for $700 its pretty ridiculous!

 

well ebay has it for 400... why would the sound suck? i'm just gonna run it off 2 amps not the deck....

 

well, its not gonna suck, just dont expect the sound quality to match that of a $700 alpine or nakamichi deck.

Also, in MY experiences, sony car audio dosent seem to last.

 

ya i want a cool looking visual deck... know any other than sony? i also was debating XM Radio...

 

I haven't seen a sony deck that lasted at all. I don't see many sony car audio products that last long period.
