Default question about sub sizes

will a single 8 inch do any good? i am trying to add more depth to my music but dont want eart hshattering bass. just wanted to see if an 8 inch would just be a waste of money or should i go with a 10 inch.

I'd go to a good 10" rather than an 8" cuz to me, 8's just don't do much for me. I rather get good 6x9's.

if placed in the right place, 8's can give you decent bass, BUT i prefer a 10inch instead.

If you're gonna spend the time and money, atleast get a 10" sub....

What kind of car are you putting it in? I used to have one 10 in my integra, and it sounded decent, I'm guessing because of the hatch.

i dont like sedans because of that sealed trunk....i like the sound of the sub in the cabin....

but still knocks though.=D

For a sedan at least a 10" is reccomended.
