hey i just bought a JL 10w6 and the seller told me it was mint condition but there are two parts of the foam that is soft and is cracking.. one actually has a crack/tear at the outta edge.. is there anyway to repair that?? thanks

 

So the foam on the outer egde of the cone is messed up???

If that's the case, it would be better to get the sub fixed at a speaker repair shop. My brother had to do this with some old 10w6's he bought. They looked mint as well, but deteriorated after a couple of months of play. Here, it costs like $80 to have new foam put on...
