washing speakers?

Default washing speakers?

this guy told me that if i was my speakers, they would sound a lot better. literally rinse them off with a hose. what do you guys think about this? its not a paper speaker of course.

what benefit do you think adding water to an electro-mechanical device is going to add?

there is absolutely no possible benefit to washing a speaker....good lord, where do people come up with this stuff

did he also tell you to put water in your gas tank to clean it? He was obviously messing with you, or he doesn't know what he is talking about. If anything, water will probably completely ruin your speakers.
