cv joint...?
need ur comments n this 2. thanks
last 2 days my car has been making this weird noise. when i step on the gas slowly only or when i turn the wheel left or righ at low speed or when the car is n park/completely stop. before i get rip off do u guys think is the cv joint or something else lose?
I change the front brake pads a week ago because they were making noise, they were actually broken already. the shop just install brand new ones but i can still hear little noise when i'm braking. did i get some cheap pads or something else?
work done since 3 weeks before all this annoying problems.
change trasmission fluid , change engine oil, new bumper, new hood and the car was pull a bit n front due to a a$$*ole who reverse into my park car.
my friend says once the car is hit u can expect all this annoying noises, i'm starting to believe him.

it sounds like a strong vibration, like something lose, i can feel it n the steering wheel and i can tell is happening low front. weird thing is, it doesnt happen at speed over 15mph even when turning at that speed. i had the hood open and did a quick inspection, had my gf step on the gas but i cant notice the noise when the hood is open weird.
thanks.
thanks.
As for vibration...my guess goes with alignment. If your car has been pulled, then your alignment needs to be done again. As for brakes, some sound or even uneven stopping is expected right after install. Brake rotors are made of iron, and pads are simple carbon...at least the regular ones found in stock cars. These parts are relatively cheap and aren't made to the fullest precision...so expect a little break-in period.
As for clicking while turning...that's a sure-fire sign of a CV joint gone bad. Get that checked out ASAP.

chances are if the brake pads cracked, your rotors are scored...hence the grinding noise or vibration. if the shop just replaced the pads and didnt bother resurfacing the rotors, theyre not much of a shop...if the rotors were scored they should have recommended to have the rotors turned. If you denied the work, then its your fault.

hey thanks guys for the quick reply, turns out that i need new rims both front are bad twisted, plus on top of that a brand new tired i just bought already has a nail inside and soon or later air will come out. as for the noise from the brake , i was told they just cheap and thats why there is noise at times, next time i will just get some oem from the dealer or something better, good news is the CV joint are good thank god. and some of the vibration was cause because something was lose they fix it like n 1 sec and charge me $50 damn.
i will get some rims with tired 17 for $850 including all labor , balance etc...<-- is that a good price? found a good place at the junk yard.
