I want to get some steel braided clutch lines, or even just soem regular ones, i think i have a leak, and i need to know where i can buy some of these, its a 94' EX

theres only one rubber line in the clutch hydraulic system and its about 8" long.

Braided lines help BRAKE hydraulic systems because the rubber lines expand, making the pedal "mushy"... braided lines are much stronger and resist expanding so the pedal feels more solid and more pressure can be applied to the pistons.

The clutch hydraulic system does not develop enough pressure to need braided lines, as the fluid only has to push one small piston.

Check your Clutch slave and master cylinders if you believe you have a leak... more than likely it is the slave cylinder, which is right on the front of the transmission... have someone push the clutch in and you'll see it more the engagement arm.

 

I just had to replace that line in my 4gen. Instead of replacing it with another rubber line, I had a local hose shop custom make me a steel line. Works great! Cost me about 50 bucks.

The only place I was able to find the rubber line is from Honda they said it would take 5 days to get...and I didn't have that much time.

 

I know its not one of the cylinders, since i spent 400 bucks about a month ago gettin those replaced thinking it was them
