2003 Accord "update"???
About 2 days ago, I get a letter in the mail from Honda.
The letter says that for 2003 Accords with auto trannies, "an improvement to the reverse gear selection software will be applied."
It goes on: "If your vehicule is a 2 door coupe, the multiplex unit that controls the security ssystem has been updated, and will be installed... An improved engine breather pipe and an improved charcoal canister drain elbow could also apply to your vehicule..."
So anybody know the lowdown on each of these 3 issues?

The auto tranny thing is strange, but as I understand it is this:
If you are stuck in the snow or something, and you are trying to 'rock' your way out with going from R to D, R D R D R D R D etc. for something like 20 times, it will lock out reverse completely and the car will not go back into reverse again. The fix is a quick update of the software. Kind of cool they can do that, but who the hell figured out this circumstance anyway?? I always thought that was a really bad thing for a tranny to go through.
