Rewind to May 1st, 1999. A week before my 16th birthday. My brother and his girlfriend come to visit me, and pull up in his car and her jeep. I'm wondering why they take two cars, but don't really think about it. They walk inside and my brother says, "Ok which one do you want, the black one or the green one" I say, the black one! He throws me the keys and says OK. I say, so where's my real birthday present? He says "outside"

So i run outside, thinking he's got a present or something for me in the car. I look through it and find nothing. Everyone comes outside and says "happy birthday, there's your present"

"The car!?!" I'm in shock. My brother bestowed upon me his 1998 Honda Accord EX.

Actually what happened is my brother bought the car and lived in chicago, but he was going to move to Washington DC. He did not need transportation in DC, so instead of selling the car, he had my parents take over payment on it. It was a present from my brother and parents then. I'm stoked, i got a car, i don't have to drive a big purple van around anymore!

This was taken a few days after i got the car. I was so excited that i forget to resize and suck in my belly!



Car came to me with tint, 10disc cd player in trunk. This was the end of my junior year in highschool. I drive it around until mid summer when i find out my brother is moving to new york and his company has a parking garage so he wants the car back. He comes gets it, i say my sweet sorrow to it and wave as he drives off. Back to the purple van.

Fast forward to January. My brother moves to virginia and out of nowhere, buys a honda s2000.



I think...alright i can get the accord back!

He sold it :bawling:

Fast forward to February, my dad has a business conference in DC, so stops by to visit my brother. He had the conference on the weekend, and was going to visit my brother for a week.

February 14th, February 2000 my dad returns from his trip....in a 1998 Honda Accord EX. The same car I previously had...what!?!?
Apparently my brother did not sell the car, and my whole family was in on it, my dad was going to fly in, have his conference, visit my brother and drive the accord back.

The day it came back

So i get the car back and in looking for pictures of accord's i find www.superhonda.com I register and look through the forums to find out that people modify these cars! That's when it started


First mod, red/clear taillights




Next, black housing/clear headlights


Seeing as i was in highschool, i thought Neon's were the coolest. This was right around the time i registered at accordclub.com (aka hondasociety)

And if any of you remember the disaster, the tein's weren't installed correctly so the top of the coilover was coming through the engine bay and hitting my hood
