I usually fill-up around 1/4 tank left, but the other day I drove on E for a while. I filled up 15 gallons, which means I had 2 remaining. As I understand, the reserve on the Accord is 3 gallons. So a gas light should have gone on. Can anyone clue me in here? Do the 98 LX's have a fuel light?

P.S. I don't have the owners manual, anyone know the answer?

Yes, they do. I'm not too sure about the reserve. My sister has a 98 lx and her's comes on when she's low...

Hmmm...Does the white fuel pump above the F symbol light up? Or is there a light benieth the E that is not visible until lit?

it's an orange light that comes on below the E

I am driving 98 Lx as well. My gas light used to work well. I don't know since when, it never come on. Maybe we have the same problem.

i second that. orange gas pump icon that illuminates somewhere around e (well below a 1/4).

I had the same problem...I took it in and had it checked out at the dealership and I thought it was a blown bulb but it turned out to be a bad "Fuel sending unit".

Hmmm. As long as the fuel indicater reads acurately untill E there really is no problem. I was just wondering if there was a light...Good to know I'm not the only one with the problem.
