all the mounts are there if you wanted to add the dual cat back system.

the "dual" exhaust system on the 6th gens are nothing more than a Y pipe and 2 mufflers. if you wanted to do that, you just needed to order the right parts.

You'll have to do some modification, it isn't a direct bolt on.

the hangars aren't in the right place, nor are the flanges for the Y. You would have been better off going to a muffler shop and having a custom magnaflow exhaust bent, if would have been cheaper in the long run, also you could get it really cheap because crush bent instead of mandrel would probably be fine for you, since the fact that you're putting duals on says you don't care about performance, and crush bent is MUCH cheaper. Your best bet is to take the exhaust over to a muffler shop and have some cutom piping made, have him hang the exhaust cans cut the flanges off of the cans, then make a custom Y, you can have him put flanges back on if you don't want to cut the original ones off, but it will be much more expensive.

it will affect performance a lot...a 4 cyl is too small for duals...even the accord 6 is stretching it IMO...u'll lose a grip of backpressure, torque, and all of ur low end...u'll have to rev like a civic to get going

Actually you'll gain back pressure. The Y-pipe is what increases back pressure, and the additional metal from a 2nd muffler + piping will cool down the exhaust gasses a little, which will slow it down, and in turn increase back pressure. The 2nd isn't as much of a factor as the 1st...

If you have a V6, you could probably get more gains by ditching the stock dual exhaust, and getting a low-restriction single exhaust. The same applies to I4 Accords...

*I'm kinda quoting this from a previous post in this forum.
