Default instrument cluster lighting

ok so I took my cluster out and replaced the white bulbs/blue caps with red bulbs. The result is Pink numbering. I noticed at 55mph it's a nice bright red. This is because the 55mph mark is orange while the rest of the numbers are white. My question is, when you take the actual guage sheet out of its housing is there a seperate transparent colored sheet just for the numbers? Or is the transparent white numbers and black solid part all one sheet? Im hoping it's two seperate sheets so I can replace the white transparent one with red.

My second question is about the A/C. I took the casing off the back behind the 5 buttons. I got to the circuit board but couldnt take it out because of the buttons being attached and not coming through the holes in the front. Do I have to pry the buttons out? It didnt seem like they could be and I didnt want to bend the plastic.
