tires 215/40/17

Default tires 215/40/17

i got some 17 inch rims and i was gona get 215/45/17 tires but the guy at discount tire said i should get 215/40/17 if i want to drop my car...i got a 94 accord. does that sound right to you?

... wouldn't make a difference if you're dropping it or not since the width remains the same at 215.

if you're concerned about rubbing, that's more of an "offset" issue with your rims and not the tire width. for argument's sake, if youre offset is badly off, you can get a 175 wide tire and still rub.

well im dropped on eibach sportlines...on 215/45s and its fine

but its really up to you...

locally. but he has a website "wheeloptions.com"

i paid about the going price though. good thing about Vic is that he has a lot of rims in stock and can get you just about whatever you need fairly quickly. he just won't cut you any super special deals. (eh.. well, he didn't cut *me* any)

but i guess i should be happy i just drove in and picked it up same day. i've heard quite a few people have had to wait months before getting their volks.

awesome, thanks! I'll def. check out his site. I've been lookin' around at different places to get some.

no prob. give him a call. nice guy. tell him that the dude with the white '93 accord, with the brembo brakes and bronze TE's sent you. maybe he'll feel good about getting referrals and cut you a better deal. no harm can come from a phone call. g'luck to ya.
