I have a Honda Engine - H23SA3 I think - which has gone bang!

Quite spectacular really, loads of smoke, red hot engine, the lot!

So, one dead cylinder head - cracked right across the top.

My question - where O where can I find a replacement cylinder head? I've tried everywhere! They all recommend a bucket of petrol followed up by a lit match...

Any clues?



(The specs: 96, Rover 623si, 2.3 litre Honda engine (goes beautifully!), aluminium double overhead cam cylinder head)

 

id start with salvage yards to see if they ahve anything there. you may get lucky...

Also, it may be possible to use an H22 head as an upgrade?
