only thing that really matters is the filter and how well it fits into your car..it could look good but not fit correctly

where it sits in your hood...how much u pay for it? as long as it fits in you car and in the right location it should be fine...should of at least went with AEM maybe 100$ shipping. my moto is if you are buying something for your car, y not give it something that will make it perform better? Quality parts = Quality performance cheap parts = cheap performance

It's not mine.
I have a 4cylinder. I was thinking of getting one for my car.
This is one thread thats gonna go the wrong way.
I've seen AEM CAI's and the piping and the filter look the same to me.
I believe that generic intakes will do the same as name brand intakes, for the simple fact that it's just a pipe and a filter.

yes, it is "just a pipe" but does the pipe fit right? and is the filter really a good filter? and that cant be CAI because the pipe is way to short..CAI also has i think 3 bends? depends on car...i think my short ram AEM looks longer than that ??? not sure....good luck tho.

We havent installed it yet.
It's not a cold air. It's a short ram for a V6.
He bought the car crashed, and the filter housing was liquid plastic. The dealer was charging him over $100 bucks for it, so we just gt an aftermarket one for $40.
