Default Is my car safe to drive? *PICS*

Tires and CV Boots...

Okay, so I'm paranoid...but I need you guys' trusty opinion:
I'm considering headin to Las Vegas for my buddy's 21st this week so whole trip i'm guessin should be about 1000 miles.

I took some pics of my tires, with the penny too, do you guys think the car would be safe to make the trip?

Some pics of Front Left tire:

Another thing, I discovered my FL CV Boot...it looks like this...I'm guessing that it's Leaking? Is this really bad? Should I have this taken care of immediately?

How much would fixing a leaking CV Boot cost?

If you guys recommend that I take care of this immediately, I'll go ahead and do that...maybe rent a car instead of driving the Accord.

THANKS!!

I definately reccomend getting the CV boots fixed before it messes up your axles. Also, any pics of your rims? Gunmetal C2s sound dope.

i would get those cv boots fixed right away.

those tires could be worse ... but not by much. if you had a blow out at a high speed, it wouldn't be pretty. if you have the $$$ get everything fixed ... it's your safety.

How much would it be to fix the CV Boot? I can try to get it done today.

As for the tires, I think i'm going to rotate them as the rears have more tread.

Fix the CV boot from my experience its cheaper to just buy a new axle at 69.99 cause the CV boot kits are like 75 a side and its a ****ing messy ass job.

i wouldn't worry about the tires. Seems like u have plenty of tread left on them. Might want to slow down more than usual in heavy rain. Don't know enough to advise u on the cvboot. My friends cv joint has been popping for the last couple of months but the car still runs ok.

i spent 181 to get both my axles replaced, better to replace the entire axle then to fix the boot, when theres already dirt and debris in the axle which will make it worse down the road.

Good point...I'm going to stop by my mechanic tomorrow and have him replace the axle instead of just the boot. From wut he told me, he said he'd be able to fix it in an hour for $60.

My stock wheels actually have a dent in one of the rims, and that causes it to leak air on that tire...so I'm going to rotate my tires...should be okay...i have more tread on my rear tires anyhow.

Thanks for all the input fellas!
...You guys may have saved my life.
