Default 4th gen red/clear tail lights

Hey kiddies! Just thought I'd share with you my experience with red/clear taillights. After reading some of the previous posts about these lenses, I have noticed several complaints involving quality. I have now had my red/clears on my car for over 3 months now. I have had no problems with them. There is no condensation, no lens/backing seperation, no stripped screws, and best of all, they look great. The ones I got were from procarparts.com via eBay. These taillights only ran me $62, but shipping was another $18. I have seen people on this board bitch about the high cost of lights, or have said they got a good deal at $1X0.00 for the set. I am very pleased with these lights, and if you're in the market for a set of 92/93 sedan red/clears, eBay is the way to go.

There's my .02.

tc all.

i got my red/clears for 33 bucks then like 20 for shipping on ebay. I agree they are nice quality but I wish they didnt have that chrome funkiness. I can notice it on the top of the tailights between the trunk and the lights.

Default 2 middle section lights

did yours have the same configuration to allow for the stock adapter to hook up in the 2 middle section lights? Because mine didn't so I cut the harness off, rewired two new harnesses on (each light) and used those instead. It was working fine for a while but all of a sudden I can't get out of park. Put in a new brake light switch and checked all the fuses. Assume its the re-wiring. So beware attempting this!

I had no problems with the installation, and everything fit great. No rewiring or anything weird. The only thing I had to do that wasn't with the kit was put amber bulbs for the turn signals. I think it was a bank-busting $2.00 at Walmart.

I noticed the chrome funkiness prior to installation, and a few small pieces of black electrical tape did the trick. I'll see if I can get some pics of the red/clear tail lights up soon.

Allright, kiddies, I took a pic of the red/clear tail lights. I removed the black electrical tape so you can see the chrome funkiness between the trunk lid and the light lens.

And no that's not my current license plate. I switched it with a Texas '82 plate thats no longer valid.

I like them, at least they are not altezzas....

I still prefer stock though and I am looking to buying a 4th gen Accord.
