Default Buffing minor scratches?

My dad put a lot of boxes in front of where I park my car in the garage. I didn't want to hit the boxes so I did not park close enough because when I closed my garage, the garage door scraped my rear bumper.

I now hideous long lines down the middle of my bumper. Kind of matches my busted front bumper but eh h:

Is it possible to buff it out with some wax and a buffer? I have one somewhere.

If you can rub your fingernail on the scratch and your nail gets stuck in the scratch, theres no way a buffer can help that. Other minor ones where your nail isn't stuck in the scratch should be able to get out but not with a wax. Try a polish, swirl remover, or cleaner polish. Good luck.

I would not wet sand.
I tried something called rubbing compound made by 3M.
It works wonders.
