hey i was thinking of getting my car painted soon, iw as wondering...i was lookin at a passport and it looked like the sidemoldings were supposed to be there but some1 jus took em off...is it the same with accords, if u just take off it will be aiight? or should i just paint over? idunno if i have the money to get em shaved...what do u guys think

 

you will be alright if you take it off the paint wont chip or anything but ... you will have some nasty holes in your doors

 

At this time I'm not sure, but I seem to remember double stick tape on portions of my door mouldings ( in addition to the clips) when I replaced them. Might be another issue to consider.

 

ther'es gonna be a groove leftover from the moldings...and lil holes every so often too...so..if u don't fill it...gonna look pretty ugly
