i have screeching noise when i start up my car and for a while when im driving it...but once the car is going for a lil bit it stops...but then sometimes it comes back...very annoying...idunno what it is? some1 told me a/c belt? but why would it stop after a while? once again...any info would help, i am totally clueless, this noise is embarassing sometime...

 

check your belts... could also be the alternator going bad... sometimes when they are goin out the bearings inside squeal pretty loud.

most likely timing belt. get that checked/changed before it breaks or thinks will really be bad...unless ur REALLY lucky
