4th gen clutch squeak
:upset: I need help!
I just bought a 1990 Accord EX coupe and went on a road trip. I had the bright idea of taking my car on the beach to camp there overnight. Well I went a little to far into the deep sand and got my front tires stuck! When I finally got the car out the front wheels squeeked like mad. After awhile the right one stopped but the left one still makes a kind of squeel/scrape sound but only when I turn left and only at a certain angle. I took the wheel off to inspect and clean the brakes, that helped a little but the sound is still there. Also everytime I press the clutch down to shift it makes a loud squeek. Any ideas on what I can do???

i suggest you jack up the front end, pull off the wheels, wrap all the electrical stuff, and blast it all down with a hose..... the " pushing on the cluch and squeeking " could be cause from sand getting under the dust plate and into the tranny, its possible............. ummm you might also consider taking it to a mechanic
