I got my stuff on NOPI, but you might be able to find a good buy on www.groupbuy.com Make sure you get brake disc quite for the shims so your pads don't squeak. you can pic it up at autozone or a place like that. it forms a thin silicone layer that is supposed to prevent the squeaks.

just a word of advice, if you get anything that is from schucks or any other place like it, your brakes will squeek like hell. get some OEM brake pads, they work the best cause they were made for the car.....

great. . . thanks for the adivce! now if we wanted OEM parts, and we wanted to pay out the ass for them at the honda dealer, then we might take it!!

The fact is that plenty of companies make parts for cars that are just as good as the OEM parts. in most cases you wont be able to tell the difference if you got them from a local parts dealer.

most of us want more than OEM performance, and the only way to get that is by getting parts that are BETTER than OEM. If you install the brakes proporly, they wont squeak.
BTW, even OEM pads squeak.

I have EBC Greenstuff pads and EBC slotted and grooved rotors and they work great.
They stop on a dime and i have yet to feel that lock feeling you get from stock non-abs brake system when they get hot.
The only thing i dont like is when they get hot at times they squeal a bit.

Great. You want a cookie?

Geez, the guy tries to help you out and offer a hookup lol.

I replaced mine with OEM pads because:

1. I wanted decent bite without tons of dust
2. Fitment is perfect
3. They aren't that expensive
4. They are quiet

Aftermarket isn't always the answer for everyone. With most aftermarket you basically have two options...hard compound that lasts forever at the expense of braking, or a more aggressive compound that is louder and dusty. There are different degrees of course, and I'm all for performance, but for my daily driver, OEM was the right balance of stuff. It all depends on what you are looking for.

Do you think I can reused the Shims on my pads, I believe when i put them on they had some sticky stuff on them... and i used a jelly anti squeek grease or jel.
Back to my question where is it cheap on the web... or in S. California (714) (562) (310) area code
