Default Honda Accord 03 cd-player kit question.

Does anyone know a good place to get a kit that would fit an aftermarket cd player into Honda Accord 2003 LX 4DR (the stereo right now is double DIN weird shape). I checked crutchfield, but they have one for $30, unless i buy a stereo from them. I wanna buy the stereo on eBay though...

Links? Thanks.

Here's the crutchfield one: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-dPiHti2...7862&s=0&cc=01 That's what it recommends when I put my vehicle in. But then compare the pictures:

Absolutely different shape...

I'd wait because theres nothing good out for a proper deck swap right now. The few custom ones I've seen look pretty bad.

oh shit, u're right, i didn't notice that. So will that mean that I have 2 working CD players at the same time? That sounds kinda ridiculous. Does anybody know of any kits that would replace the actual CD player? The controls for AC are below the deck, so I don't really see why it says "Unlike most kits, this one doesn't replace your factory radio, which has the climate controls built into it. Instead, it replaces the factory pocket directly beneath the radio"... :/

Do a custom job, I'm getting a 5.6" lcd screen hooked up to a PS2 in the cd storage hole thing. Given..you want a cd player, but that would be sweet. Or get a 6 disc changer from the EX models, you can find them on ebay.

I just went to this one shop and they're trying to BS me that the crutchfield kit wouldn't be enough because I need some kind of Interface Adaptor to add 2 RCA inputs to my stock stereo, because the new aftermarket deck would sit below the original and connect to AUX. Now I'm thinking crutchfield is not that stupid to send me a kit that would require another adaptor (which btw costs $99). Who's legit here and who's BSing me?

Thanks guys.

doesn't it look like the CD player is independent of the climate control? or does it only look like that? (looking at the space between the CD slot and the border)...

Check this out from Installer.com It will put a head unit under your current stereo like the Crutchfield and comes with the necessary wiring harness.

It's $37.95 here:
