The pipeing wont fit so you will have to get it customly bent but I say do it. I agree it looks a lot better.

The exhaust system on the 7th gen is awful for both the V6 and the i4, so its just going to be for looks. It would be pointless and stupid to just switch the exhaust and get no power gains or a better sound, he should go aftermarket if he wants dual. For the record, I have dual exhaust on my 7th gen too(V6...hehe)

thanks for the replies everyone,

anybody know of any aftermarket dual exhausts that would fit on the i-4? I know that there are some for the v6, but not the 4 cyl. Thanks again

You could go custom, that should run you about the same price, maybe a few hundred more...looking at about $700-800 for a custom dual exhaust job, that would be sweet. I'm also not sure why the V6 dual exhaust aftermarket systems wouldnt fit the I4...

Do yourself a favor and just take the exhuast off, it sounds better with no exhuast!.

ummm ... i really don't think there's anything but a cosmetic gain here. the dual is just composed of a Y pipe and 2 cans.

Did I say it would give gains? . no I said it looks good and go for it. I dont see anywhere in his post where it says he wants gains. Seems like he just want his car to look good thats why I said do it. I would never do it on my car because I think its pointless for PERFORMANCE but not looks on some vehicles and depends on what exhaust you are useing.

Yes but if youre going to pay a few 100 for the OEM v6 exhaust system you might as well shell out a few hundred more, get a better look, get performance gains, and have it sound a hundred times better.

It would be kind of pointless...if you want to have any kind of supposed performance gain, go with a dual TL-S muffler setup.
