Default 2000 accord blank key

I'm looking for a few spare keys for my 2000 accord. I have checked on ebay and other places to no avail. I have also checked with honda dealerships and they are charging $75 per key. That is ridiculous! I was told that it would be cheaper to buy them somewhere else and then go to the dealership to get them programed and cut. Any suggestions on what I should do?

You can get the key from the dealership for 25 dollars. You get the key from them and they also cut it and program it for you for 25 dollars. It should be around that price at every dealer. Take your VIN number with you, they make a better cut of the key with the VIN than they do with your actual key. When I brought my key in they didn't cut the key correctly and it would take me a little while to turn the key because it didn't fit right or something.
