Default Blaster 2 coil and dist. cap install

I just got a msd distributor cap and blaster 2 coil to put on my 96 2.2 ex accord. The cap and coil did not come with any instructions. Can someone who has done this help me out with the wires for the coils? I am assuming that you have to take out the old coil for the new cap to fit on? Thanks in advance.

You do have to take the old coil out, it is just held in by 2 philips screws. You'll need to find a place to mount the blaster coil... if you have an aftermarket intake, somewhere in the inside of the fender will work. With the distributor off (3 screws), you'll see 2 wires connected to the stock coil... one positive, one negative. Disconnect the wires from the coil, then turn on the ignition... with a test light, find the positive wire. You'll need to make a small harness to go from those wires inside the distributor, to the new coil. I poked 2 small holes in the rubber gasket for the distributor, one for each wire. The new coil has the pos and neg clearly labeled. It is fairly easy to do. While you have the distributor off, it would be a good time to replace the rotor as well, as they are only $5 from an auto parts store.
