Default Radiator upgrade.... WHY?

Is there really any performance value to upgrading my radiator??? I found a performance radiator in a junkyard for $50, but I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading it or if I should just save my money....

I assume that a performance radiator would be much lighter and would keep up with my vehicle once it's totally modded out, but I never really thought about what the radiator really does and why it would need to be upgraded, I just always upgraded it before adding on Turbo/Super...

I have it on hold right now, so help me out! I'm not sure if I want it or not, so give me reasons why or why not.

unless your car in it's current state overheats like mad you have no reason to replace your radiator

yeah it would just help your cooling system out......might save you some weight. For 50 bucks, I might even think about it, thats dirt cheap. But its up to you.

$50 is cheap ... if its a fluidyne, i'd be all over it because they start at $400 new.
