HELP...am I paying too much for clutch fix?!
I'm getting my original Honda OEM Clutch replaced and the flywheel resurfaced. I can imagine that this is a lot of labor, but how much should it be? The mechanic and I trust this guy's knowledge and expertise...says that it'll be about $250 to take out the tranny and put in the new clutch and another $25 to resurface the flywheel. Does $275 for such an operation sound legit?
I'm in the Los Angeles San Gabriel area, so if you any of you guy can recommend a good mechanic who's cheaper, PLEASE let me know. Thanks!

Even the cheapest clutch/pressure plate ass'ys on the planet are 300.00 WITHOUT labor, so either you have a very generous mechanic, or he knows not what he does.
Awesome, thanks for the input everyone...the car's there right now, should be able to pick it up tomorrow around noon...I'll drop a line here commenting on how the Exedy Clutch performs....in case curious minds wanna know...hehe
