Default Exhaust

im thinking of getting a new exhaust system but they are all freaking expensive, so i'm looking at mufflers only. i like the greddy look, and im not really in to those N1 muffler or bomber looks, you know like the ones that looks like a big metal round pitcher. but theres one thats called megan muffler for around $40 i think it looks ok.

anyway, ive been looking at ebay they have this muffler system for $100 i think its an exhaust that looks like greddy. i know a lot of people will say just get the real deal but i really dont want to spend hundreds of hundreds of dollars to get a couple of ponies if you know what i mean. im not really into name brand as long as it looks good im ok with that. but if you guys know anyone that sells real good name brand exhaust systems for cheap price let me know.

Just from what I've seen on this and other boards, you get what you pay for when it comes to exhaust. (sound, performance, looks, emissions) Your call though.

If you're still unsure on what exhaust that you should get, search the forum. We go over this topic almost every week.

Get a GReddy EVO...sounds nice and good power gains. I dynoed mine at Autothority with a Injen CAI and the EVO and gained 13.something HP. I forget...its like 13.2 or some shit like that. I got it done for free :fawk:

u sure the cai and the evo both didn't gain 13 horses?...evo on it's own can't gain 13 horses...nice gains offa just i/e tho...o...and to answer the thread...muffler by itself gonna sound like trash...but u can always get the muffler and get custom piping...thas what i did...and it sounds pretty nice...just don't really like the looks anymore...got like a 4" tip...i was 16 and dumb...i got 2.25" piping...anything bigger and it's more detrimental...cuz u lose too much backpressure...unless u go turbo...then get 2.5" or 3"
