Hey all. Was just curious what you pay (if you don't do it yourself) for Honda's 60,000 mile service? Just had mine done at the local dealership (in SoCal) and am looking to see how high this dealership is in comparison to what others pay. I'd like to find a good local mechanic, but the dealership is able to offer some nice perks like a good wash and shuttle service when I don't have a ride. Thanks in advance.

60k service is just a way for the honda dealer to bone you:idb:

do normal maintenance and get the timing belt done at 90k or when the manual says.

 

I have mine done at my mechanic for $129.95. Every 30k miles or so.

 

got my 60K mile service done for free, just had to pay 90 bucks for the new parts (Honda Oil Filter, Oil, ATF, spark plugs, distributor cap, wires, radiator flush, brake fluid, etc...) :fawk:

 

what does that consist of??

generally every 30kfor our 90-97 accords the manual reccomends tranny fluid, spark plugs, air filter, check brakes, and check fluids.

this should not cost you $130
