Can someone please tell me where the ecu is located on a 99 accord? is the same as a civic? how would i go about in removing the ecu?

 

I imagine it's the same as my '98...

It's bolted down to the floor, just forward of that big empty storage place under the radio. Peel back the carpeting alongside your accelerator pedal, and also in the passenger's footwell. Cables are on the right side, mounting screws are on both sides.

It wouldn't run quite right. The fuel maps and everything else are different. Just have the ECU you have reprogrammed.
