Default ABS issue on my 94

My ABS idiot light stays on sometimes. Like yesterday the thing came on all of sudden when I was driving. I checked my brake fluid level and its fine. I had the brakes checked and the results were well within DOT requirements. Anyone have a similar issue and if so what caused it.

did you check the fluid in the ABS unit or just the master?

I ran my abs unit with no fluid in the reservoir, and now my light stays on all the time.

You may also have a bad ABS sensor. They do fail over time. I had to replace one, junkyards rule.....$35.

It depends, the one in the rear is easy, thats the one I had to do. I would have to consult my Haynes manual to find out.
