Default All stock, except the motor?

Anybody out there from Connecticut with an Accord that looks practically stock, yet has engine modifications? I'm talking a car that (and pardon me, fellas) doesn't look like it's got body and light bolt-ons that are installed 1/2-ass. It looks clean with maybe 18"+ wheels with a tender drop kit and A LOT OF POWER. I've seen some (what I call "classy") mods done to, I believe, 5th and 6th gen Accords that make me want to signal the driver over to a gas station and thank them for displaying a heluva ride.

Are you out there? Got pics? Thanks People!

Default Nothing????

I'm assuming from such bare response that noone has an interest in a H.A. that looks completely normal on the outside, but smokes the competition underneath?
The problem with Eastern CT is that not a lot of drivers know what they're driving. The rice parts are as common on civics out here as leaves on trees. From what I can tell, most mods are those damn annoying Hills Bros. coffee can mufflers and a whale-tail spolier. That can get old in a matter of a month.
What's the use of having a $5000 paint job when you're only putting around with a $2000 motor?
Owner preference, I guess.

The majority of people who're on here alot aren't the ones with the ricers (I say majority because some like that stuff in moderation...me for example). We normally shy people away from the coffee cans and erector sets on the back. So most of us have or are working on getting a "classy" car in your words.

That's what I'm talkin' about!! Sweet! From Mass, too! Waddaya know? Nice pictures from Skabone69, as well. I've got far too many miles on mine (212k) to start upgrading the motor. I think I might get an '01 or '02 and put 17's or 18's on it, then install an air cleaner and do some intake and exhaust mods. Just enough work to give it a better grip on the road and give it a lil' bit o' balls.
Hey, thanks for the reply guys!!

IAMNEMO -

That's cool.. My area is so submersed in rice in the past 2-3 years. Mostly, I'm assuming, due to a certain "hollywood movie". I, personally, like to drive my car a little "aggressively". I find myself getting flanked by guys with the snap-on kits that haven't got much more juice under the hood than me. It's annoying. yea, I use the word "classy". The amount of tack-ons that I see on Civics rolling around is crazy - they look like space ships. AccordSleeper's got some good pics there! That's pretty much the type of Accord that'd suit me.

Here's something to chew on: Wouldn't it make more sense to put a front scoop on a front-wheel drive rather than a massive tail in back?

A suspension upgrade is always worth the money. I know I'll never smoke a mustang, but I'll show him what's up in the twisties. If you want to see a clean 6th gen check out jschmid's car, he has one of the cleanest looking 6th gen sedans out there.(interior, and exterior)

Nice... And I might sound hypocritical given the reason I started this thread, but some drops I've seen look REAAAALL sweet! I've gotta check out Schmid's car now...
