Default 2000 V6 Sedan

i wanted to know if my tranny sounded normal or if it sounds like its slipping. here's the situation, if i'm at a complete stop, the rpm will go up to about 3000-3750 before shifting to second and dropping down to 2500rpm again. if im at a complete stop and try to take off a lil faster so i can pass the car next to me, i'll push the pedal about 1/2-3/4 of the way down. At that point, it looks like my rpm goes up to 4000-4500 before shifting to second. if i floor it from a complete stop, it'll go past 5000rpm, but wont redline before it shifts to second. normal or should i take honda up on their extended tranny warranty offer and get it checked out?

Yes, your tranny is about to go. Take it to your dealer ASAP without delay. I was driving my grandma's Camry last year when it started to do that and it was NOT FUN.

For it to not do that :dunno: Take it to the dealer before you have to hire a flatbed truck.

those are all signs of a busted tranny. if it's still shifting and starting, it's not as bad as it seems. might be a broken wastegate. take it to the dealer asap while it's still drivable
