Default Body Kit??

Is fiberglass going to work or will it be to weak and break? I know urethayne is better, but will it make a big difference? I live in the city so people might bump my car

if you have the possibility of getting bumped why would you want a kit
cause a slight tap could fukc up your paint or throw your kit off
or cause more damage

just something to think about

a body kit is the tightest thing when you first get it on, then you realize how ghey it really is when you find out how much of a pain in the ass it is when you are driving around. and once you start getting paint chips, or when you have your first scraping of a curb, everything just goes to shit. save your money and don't get a body kit. you will regret it in the long run. just my opinion. everyone i know that has had a body kit has fuked it up in someway. it just takes time.

It all depends on what kit you get IMO. What year and layout is your Accord?

I personally like subtle urethane lip kits. Most are driveable, and will hold up as well as your stock bumpers if prepped and painted correctly.

i would say stick with an oem kit if you have newer accord or buy a lip kit. for reason mentioned above.

someone i know has a real mugen lip on his civic, he cracked it last week after a month cause he it a dead animal in the road. he also dropped kinda low which doesn't help either.

Yeah, I have a 94 4 dr, and it is dropped.. I have coil overs and I have 18's on it. I was looking at the skyline body kits in fiberglass. What do you think, or what would be a better option. i don't want to waste money

you gotta be really careful driving. fiberglass will crack easy and you will end up wasting ur $$. if u get a lip like (wings west) its a lil easier cuz its urethane and will not crack.

Can I get some pics of urethane lips on some accords... It would probably be cheaper that way too, but I really like the way the skyline kit looks, I wish they just made it in urethane
