considering putting a clear bra on since I settled on black. I know chips from the highway are going to show allot and drive me nuts after. Anyone comments on these things?

I was thinking of covering the entire bumper and the front portion of the hood.

 

i actually never seen a clear one...i bought a black hood bra for my c/f hood tho..for 27 shipped off ebay

 

3m sells this clear sticker thing thats like what you're talking about, you can put it on your lower half of your hood and your bumper

 

Yea thats the one i'm talking about. Its about $300 without install. I wonder if its worth it. Rock chips suck and on black will be so obvious

 

haha you should see my oem hood. its all torn up. c/f wont be that way though..it gets the bra.

 

working at lexus, ive seen a couple of them on the IS300 and the GS's (300's, 400's, and 430's). they dont look all that bad, but on the white cars, you can really see em b/c it is more of a yellowish color, not really clear. but i guess that doesn't apply b/c your car is black. the only thing i have to say is make sure you get it straight the first time, cause that thing will be hard as hell to take off. oh yeah, and keep it clean, cause it can change colors on you if you let it get really dirty.
