Default New Guy - '03 6-speed Coupe

Just wanted to share my news - just traded in my monster '97 Jeep Wrangler on a '03 6-speed coupe, black/black.

So far I love it - plenty of power for me (for now - judging by how hard the mod bug has bitten me in the past vehicles I've owned, I'm sure it'll bite again sooner or later,) great ride, etc. My only gripe is the factory tires suck and scream LOUD when you are only vaguely gettin' on it (I find it difficult NOT sounding off on the 1-2 shift with my regular driving style,) and the annoyingly huge lumbar lump in the seat - I'll get used to that, though. It's worth it, thanks to the other positive traits of the car.

Just thought I'd say hey.

Thanks. This is my second Honda car (had a 90 Accord LX sedan, 5-speed,) 7th Honda total counting motorcycles/ATV's. Honda makes about the only machinery I can't easily break

I'll go get some for you on my lunch break - dang thing already has cat footprints on it -- first night I had it I couldn't fit it in the garage (it is significantly longer than my Jeep was) and it had to sleep outside - some neighbor's cat decided it looked good enough that he needed to check it out...

Sans the S2000 and NSX, all Hondas come with awful tires. Do yourself a favor and get a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's...after owning the Potenza S-03 and Dunlop SP9000 on my Accord, they are far and away the best tire you can purchase for a FWD Honda in my experience. The dry grip of the S-03, which was pretty bad for $600 in the wet, combined with the responsiveness and wet grip of the SP9000, which was lackluster in the dry.
