Default vtec controller

does anyone out there have a vtec controller on there accord? i met some guy that has one on his coupe and he says it feels just like nitrous when the vtec engages at a lower rpm. any info or experiance with this mod?

haha...no stock accord's SOHC VTEC will feel just like nitrous or close to nitrous oxide.

VTEC is the most overhyped engine technology EVER. It's not like a turbocharger reaching nomial boost, or like a superchargers overall gains, or like a shot of nitrous oxide. Almost all car manufacturers have a form or controlling the valve timing and lift to provide more efficient operation at different RPM ranges.

lol ...you said it ... a vtec controller just allows the user to mess with the rpm engagement point. vtec is vtec no matter where it's placed.

And engaging it at to much lower of an rpm than stock, just make you lose power and tourqe

well i guess that mods not going to happen, what about the venom 400 mod. any insight on that?

Unless you have a head job or upgrade cams. I can seem how vtec would even compare to NOS. Vtec is so overrated.
