a universal cat is welded into your exhaust or welded in with pipe and flanges to bolt in.
some high flow cats are not efficient enough to meet the standards of the ecu

Don't you think it's worth a phone call to a Honda dealer to find out?
I called today, no recall on the converter ! There is one on the ignition switch though, thx. :yay:

Thx I didn't know for sure! I would rather have a converter that fits directly w/ the header downpipe! :werd: on the aftermarket high flow cats not meeting ecu standards. What the hell is the point of a high flow cat if it turns on the check engine light anyways?

because for people who are OBDI or have older vehicles it is perfectly fine.

a carsound cat should give you no trouble though as long as the 2nd o2 sensor bung is put in or worked around.

So when are they gonna make some good ones for the OBD II cars! [kidding]

I guess I'm looking for something like this but the prices are really high on these. I'm a Progressive Insurance customer, I like to shop around for the best price . See this one has a fitting for the O2 sensor and would bolt on. It's between this one or the carsound cat. :dunno: Would you go for the converter below over carsound? Less maintenance but it's higher priced!
