I don't have anytime to do the rest of my installs this summer so I wanted to ask you guys if $500 dollars was way too much for my install on:
H&R springs
AGX shocks
brrmbo front rotors
front AEM pads
SS brake lines
brake fluid
clutch fluid
and oil change?? I want to do it myself but I don't have the time.

 

nmm just the springs and shocks are $200 but i get it for $100, labor that is i dont know how much are the rest, but i think u could have gotten it cheaper. just my opinion.

 

$100 bucks for the spring and shock install?

 

The regular price for shock/spring install in states or cities w/o a lot of import racer shops is $150-200. I live in Colorado and there ain't crao for import tuner shops. I used to live in cali and many places only wanted $80. I got the hook on mine for $100 as well through a friend.

I would say $435 is a good number

 

the book on spring/struts is 1hr aside. so 4 hours. avg price for labor $60. so $240. of course in areas were competition is high for this type of install you'll find lower prices. so $175-200 would be fair if you don't have a hookup.

 

I contacted a couple of places and they said that they would charge me $222 for the front and $222 for the rear. One place said $400+. I'll just give it too my mechanic. He's giving me the best deal out of everyone I talked too. That and he said I don't have to pay him all up front. Thanks for the info guys.

 

I dont know, 500 for all that is a little much, see if you couldnt do some of it yourself...Try changing your brake fluid, clutch fluid, and oil on your own, those are pretty simple. good luck

 

usually the normal thing is $50 each side=$200 but u can always talk, remember they always try to charge double i'm sure most states u can get it for under $200 just go around, btw i just got my new bumper and painted after i got hit by a stupid nyc cab, i end up paying $200 which is cheap compare to the $300sss everyone else was charging me and on top of that i got the shop to take some dents scratches and the ugly yellow line thats goes around the car most accord have, looks really nice now make the car look newer since it made it look old and oh yeah i usually pay around $30-40 for the H1 xenon bulb but now this guy got it for me for $10 big diff , BTW is anyone with the 1 peace halo projector headlight having problem with buld burning cause water gets inside weird thing is from the inside the headlight is not crack, gets all fog just the headlight not corner or high beam.

 

U can bring it to a shop i go to in queens , it is 30-35 per shock and spring install....total should be 140...if u wanna know, u can aim me....there is another shop in bklyn that i know does it for 150 for all 4..
