The bent up bolts were the longer ones threaded into the rotor and used to beat the rotor off. It took a good 10-15 min of hammering with a 3 lbs sledge to get the rotor off. Definitely a shit design by Honda! An impact wrench is a definite must if you're dealing with rusty old bolts.

 

I totally agree. This is the shittiest design I seen by far. I've changed brake pads and rotors for my '01 Civic and my friend's '02 Maxima. Compare to what I have to go through with Accord, Civic and Maxima are piece of cake.
