i noticed the other day that when i shift into second accelerating hard there is a grind when i try to put it into second. the clutch is all the way down so i don't know what it is.

 

synchros....change your tranny fluid.

use honda mtl, if that doesn't work try redline mtl, if that doesn't work than gm synchromesh

 

it only has like 6000 miles on it.

 

start double clutching. :thumbup:

go to the dealer...usually they'll cover it under warranty, even though it's almost always caused by driver error.

couple exceptions to driver error are the 5th gen accord 5th gear grinding problem, and the 98-00 civic 3rd gear grinding problem.

 

are you yanking it into 2nd gear?
try, after you push the clutch down pulling it out of 1st and waiting a little bit longer than you would normally change and see if it goes in nicer
