help!!! tire shreds & rubbing?
PLEASE HELP?!
97 Accord Sedan + Konig Tantrums 18x7.5 + Kumho Ecstas 225/40/18 + H&R Sport Springs (F: 1.75/R: 1.5) = Rubbing!!!
As much as I love the smell of burning rubber, I just discovered yesterday that the right front tire seems to be getting shredded when there is someone on the passenger side! I'm guessin' it's the fenders...
What should i do?
Roll the fenders and if so, how (except I'm not too good with a baseball bat)? Is it finally time for a camber kit or shocks? If so, suggestions in so cali?
thanks for ya help!

on the 97 accord the H&R sport springs are F:1.75 and R 1.5 so I guess that is a mistake. What is the offset of your tires and how long as this been going on? Rolling out your fenders is a must.

when i had 18x7.5 racing harts with 225/40-18 rubber on my 96 accord, the front tires would get cut up by the top of the fender. make sure your wheels are pointed straight when you go up driveways and speed bumps, as the fender will only shred your tires when theyre turned and compressed (up into the fender well).
camber kits WILL NOT help, as they push the top of your tires out, and cause you tires to rub the fenders more.

My guess is they are +42.
Find out exactly where on the fender is doing the cutting, make sure it's not just a screw that can be filed down/removed. If you have no experience rolling fenders, have someone do it for you.
It's usually that inner lip of the fender that is cutting the tires.
