I just got a set of coilover sleeves for my 97 accord. The ride is ok surprisingly enough but I still want to replace the struts. I want the struts that will give me the best ride quality out there. I am trying to go as close to stock as possible. From what I have gathered from searching, I think that tokico 5 way adjustables are the best way to go. The Tokico Illumina 5 way adjustable are probably one of the better shocks on the market. Some say better than Koni Yellows. They are pretty much in the same price range, but I believe the Konis are cheaper.

Actually, if you're looking to buy a set, let me know, I just recently got a hookup who can get them for me very very cheap.

...but i'd get the koni's regardless. that's most likely what i'm getting...

 

I have KYB AGX and I'm happy with them so far. But I only lowered my car 1.75" If you go lower these shocks won't be suitable.

my tokico blues are only waranteed up to a 1.5' drop im on a 1.75' drop and im fine. my friend had 2.0' drop on his blues for 3 yrs and when he finally a strut blew he just mailed it back and they sent him a brand new one. and you can keep doing it over n over.. lifetime warrantee...

 

Lifetime warranty is good. ...but i'd still rather not have to use it.
