Default just got a 6speed..w/some concerns..

i just got a silver 6speed....but i have some concerns....

it seems like the rear bumper isn't aligned properly......it is on the side of the rear bumper where it meets the body....it looks like where the bumper meets the body of the car the bumper is a little out....this is for both sides....
you can't really see it unless you look closely....
how soft are the bumpers..??..can i push the bumper in so it is flush with the body..??...i don't have a camera so i attached a pic from honda to show what i mean....i circled where the bumper meets the body...

also it seems like the front left side of the hood...like the front 2"...is not aligned smoothly....
is it just that i'm obsessive compulsive..??

they could if the 7th gen accord in the US was the same in japan. the 5th gen was the last accord to share the same platform with jdm accord.

Same problems on my 03 LX Coupe -
Rear Bumper misaligned - sticks out from tailights about 1/16".
Left side of hood raised about 1/8"
Front Bumper misaligned slightly- where bumper meets the fenders

I think we're just obsessively compulsive. I tried to look at some other cars as if they were my own, and I noticed it on several others - even some BMWs. Nothing is perfect (especially cars assembled in the USA).

Though I have noticed that some 03 Accords are better than others. I know in the 98-02MY, the vin began with either a 'J' or a '1' to identify the country of origin - Japan or USA. So even though the US accord was different that that in Japan, some of them were still made there. Anyone know if there are any 7th gen Accords made in Japan (vin starting with a J)?

You can. I have the I4 but.. My fender had the not-so attached look exact place you pointed out in that pic. I pushed it in and it went. Thus far it has stayed.

yes, the first few batches came from Japan. I beleive they are all made in Ohio...

Anyways, the 98-02 Accord that we had was also sold in all Asian countries except for Japan...
