why do you think that?? mine at 4800 cause i have a H22 and VAFC, otherwise it would be higher like 5,100. an F22 changesover way before 4,800 rpm.

There was a huge discussion on a 6th gen accord site about this. For F23s the VTEC engages at different RPMs do to the accord being an economy vehicle. This thread explains it pretty well. http://www.honduh.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=682

koso- i have e/cai/h and i have a 98 Cl not an accord, but it has the f23 motor.
