Default ? on power window, 97 EX

97 Accord EX, power everthing.
The drivers side window goes down ok, but going up... is very slow, and seems to be slower everyday (reminds me of the "Little Train That Could")
Is this something I can repair easily, or is this a big expensive project?

You can try lubing the rubber weatherstripping with a silicone spray that may help but it more than likely needs a new one

replace the window motor. my 94 suffered from this for a year, then the cable suddenly snapped and the window got stuck in the midway position... and it wouldnt go down or up since the cable bound up the motor.

now it works as smooth as silk.

Yeah I think I'm in the market for some new power window motors as well.

Can you get the motor anywhere, or do you have to go through Honda? Cuz mine is slow as sh** to.
