how do i even install a HID kit it looks difficult with al the relays and shit i thought you plugged the old headlight socket into the ballast and the ballast into the new xenon, but it looks like theirs more to that, ignightors and shit? i thought new Gen hid dont got ignightors..

id appreciate any pics of before and after if you have any pics of how you did it too would be great!. or atleast a shot of the connections cus i dont know shit under that hood and i want to hook em up myself. thanks y0

 

most 9006 kits are plug and play.

stock harness -> hid ballast -> hid bulb -> the end

if you're wiring an "H" series bulb, it gets a bit more difficult ...

you'll have to: (for each side)
wire the power
wire the ground
wire the ballast to the stock harness
then wire the ballast to the hid bulb

same thing as the 9006, but not as simple.

 

what kind of h i d did you get and what year accord do you have

 

i have a 4100K Phillips setup in my 00 Accord coupe

 

i have 9006.. is that alot easier than H4? is 9006 pure plug and play? cus some screen shots of the kits shows alot of extra wires and stuff bvesides the ballast so i dunno.

 

post the image ... i wanna see what there is to it.

the H series bulbs suck because the stock harness is this weird looking metal prong thing. the 9006 is just a plastic plug. i posted install directions in your plasma bulb thread.
